What do you put your success down to?
Not giving up. Tenacity.
Has winning a Cannes Lion changed your career?
It’s definitely a nice thing to have.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Split up with your partner. It sounds harsh but it was good advice at the time (5 years ago) because my old partner and I were struggling to convert our placements into a permanent job.
How did you get to the position you are in now?
Worked at a theme park, went to art school, got a Degree, worked in bingo hall, all in Scotland. Then went to Ad School in San Francisco. Came to London in 2010 to start internships, eventually leading to my first job at Grey London.

To remind people we’re half the population of this world.
What’s your secret?
If you could give one bit of advice to female creatives out there, what would it be?
Hang in there. Don’t settle for less than you want.
